We love to celebrate love here at Ella Celebration. As we're wrapping up 2016 and looking forward to the New Year, we thought we'd share a few of our favorite love stories from the year that had passed.

In 2006, Jeni's father was killed in an armed robbery. The family donated his organs, including his heart, to a man named Arthur Thomas who had been on the wait-list for 16 years and was literally on his deathbed. The heart of Jeni's father saved this man's life and ten years later, Jeni asked Mr. Thomas to walk her down the aisle. 

“I thought that would be the best way for her to feel close to her dad,” Mr. Thomas said. “That’s her father’s heart beating.”
